Historical Cathedral Church over 300 years old. At the heart of Birmingham City Centre. Visited inside once on the ground floor. It's nice. Windows by Burne-Jones. You can now see the new 103 Colmore Row behind it.

First time i have visited when it is completely empty of people and chairs so can appreciate the space and light. Could admire the Burne-Jones windows from a distance

St Philip's is one of the smaller cathedrals, upgraded from a parish church when Birmingham was made a city. Originally built in 1715, it is a masterpiece of Baroque architecture, with a lovely light interior and wonderful stained glass by Edward Burns Jones. As well as regular services and special events, its gentle acoustic makes it a fine concert venue. Standing amidst the Colmore Row shopping area, the landscaped churchyard is also a pleasant place to relax in the middle of a busy day.
