What a beautiful church steeped in local history. Went to a christening there. The Reverend was friendly, the service was lovely. What a peaceful church

Lovely place christening wedding was very good service.
The architecture of this RC church is modernist along the same lines as the RC cathedral in Liverpool though much less elaborate. Still its laminated curved beams left exposed on the inside are interesting and could give inspiration for some \grand design\.
Went childrens play area. My daughter went down some steepish steps to lake and waterfall. She said it was lovely but not really suitable for the less nimble. Over the road.is the Kirkfield hotel with a lovely beer garden. We had a lovely afternoon
Really nice church and friendly people. They also have several events on throughout the year which are worth seeing.
