The Twin City Model Railroad Museum is one of those places that is relatively easy to miss, with it's understated, humble exterior, yet impossible to forget once you have been inside. The atmosphere is one of passion for the art and craft of model train collection and display, from the static cases containing model trains to the interactive, vibrant scenes with the trains fully functional and surrounded by thoughtfully arranged landscapes and characters. I would highly recommend a visit to this small museum; it is well worth the relatively-low admission fee for the joy it can bring to anyone of any age.

Perfect for kids! Tons of buttons to push, trains moving all over the place. Awesome find. My 4 year old LOVED it and has asked when we're going back.

This is easily the best train museum we have been to. My son is 3 years old and loves to push buttons. This place was amazing! The most interactive train museum we have been to. Trains at kids level that they can play with. Buttons on all the rest of the train displays that let the kids open/close train gates, guard shacks, water towers, etc. So much fun! We will definitely be back!

I am so glad they were able to reopen, with safety guidelines of course. I didn't have a picture of it, but my new favorite display is one made completely of Legos. It is incredible with many hidden treasures as you look closer. It is fun for people of all ages. The duplo and thomas the trains may be gone, but they have added buttons on almost every display so the kids can be involved. We went during the day, but they are also doing the nighttime trains on Saturdays with all the cool lights. Definitely something to check out, no matter your age.
