Good for kids
A tower on top of a hill. A nice walk and a decent view. You used to be able to go in and walk up a spiral staircase to the top but its locked up now - it did feel a bit dangerous before so I'm not surprised

Lovely dog walk in the nature, you can climb up to the tower that apparently was built by the family that built montacute house to show their power. The hill was an ancient medieval fort according to a volunteer that was around today.
A ton of history going back at least 1000 years... Linked to the battle of hastings... Do some research, fascinating stuff. Shame the tower is shut due to vandalism, hopefully will be open again soon
Tower is boarded up! No signposts, poorly maintained but nice views (would be nicer if you could climb the tower!
Lovely old tower, great view, good exercise getting up there! Shame some people decided to leave a load of rubbish up there but you get idiots everywhere.
