If visiting Abergavenny St Mary's is worth a visit, packed with history and a beautiful church.
St Mary's Priory Church, Abergavenny. The Jesse Tree, described as the finest piece of Medieval sculpture in Western Europe by BBC art historian Andrew Graham Dixon.
Lovely welcome by a steward who offered a leaflet about the priory gave a short introduction and left to give us space to walk around. Excellent e exhibition on by a local artist Jeremy Thomas. Worth visiting.
Very beautiful, completely empty when I showed up on Friday morning. Must see place in Abergavenny.
