St. Mary's Church, Chard, is without doubt the most beautiful building in Chard. The stain glass windows are stunning and are a must see. The acoustics in the church are really good which enhances your experience at concerts held in the church. The congregation are welcoming and helpful and carry out a number of projects to help the local community. For example there is a toddlers group, the Lord's Larder collections (food bank for those in need) and a free community breakfast the third Saturday of every month from 9am - 11am. Donations for the breakfast are invited from those who are able.

Almost as old as these hills around.. a place of rest
This is a quiet church despite being near the main road. There are a dozen stained glass windows which are well worth taking the time to see if you are passing this way.
Attended a wedding in this old, historic chapel.
Went for remembrance service. Church was full. Lovely service
