I love this nice beach. It is not very sandy but its tucked out of the way and the water is beautiful. Its a long way down steep steps and back up again. There is only one way on and off the beach. There is a bin at the top of the steps so you can take your rubbish home. At high tide there is still space to sit. The beach is big and there is plenty to explore. I took my dog who absolutely loved it. The views out to sea are also amazing.

Beautiful and secluded. The water is very clear and calm - perfect for skimming stones, and there are loads if great stones to skim. Lots of ducks to climb on and explore. A lovely day out, or indeed evening stroll, with the family. Seals can often be seen in the bay, they'll even swim up to you. Over a hundred steps down though, so not for the faint hearted.

It’s a little bit of a trek getting down to this beach as you have to negotiate around 100 steep steps from the coastal path above. However it's worth it as the panoramic views and water quality are excellent. It’s perfect for swimming, paddle boarding or snorkeling. If you have some rubbish, there are some bags at the bottom of the steps that have been left by volunteers to collect, but if they’re all full then please carry your rubbish to the nearest bin or home.

Nice beach to walk along, not clean sand but still nice enough to sit on with a chair or blanket. The walk down is on some really steep steps. Good workout climbing going back up again.

Lovely beach and not too busy. Pebbly and a few rocks to contend with and can only be accessed by steep stairs. No facilities. But if you are happy with this you will enjoy it. My family had a great time and a wonderful swim and I noticed that the dogs seem to like it too!

Stunning the only downside is the amount of steps down but well worth it

A long coarse sand beach on the South Devon coast, with the typical clear water of the area. Stunning views from the cliffs along the coastal path. It is a long way down from the path, along some steep steps so be prepared.
