5 stars is underrated. Had a kidney stone removed by Dr. Steve Chung, (which I would recommend to anyone who thinks they have a kidney stone or any bladder issues) The night before I was in excruciating pain so he was able to admit me into the hospital and the nurses were so efficient and friendly. The rooms are a little bit old-fashioned but that brings a little bit of charm to them and they have some of the best room service. I would recommend this hospital to anyone who has kidney issues or anything!
Cannot get a COVID test to save my life. Was told to \quarantine\ three times, then they hung up. All I need is a referral for any testing center..
I had my anatomy ultrasound here. Not a great experience at all. The tech seemed extremely uninterested and was not enthused at all. Wasn’t friendly in any way, and didn’t make the experience enjoyable. The whole time she kept commenting on how baby wasn’t in a great position. Also not allowing dad in the room, not able to record or take pictures.
I got an email from IVCHs attorney today threatening to sue me. Must be something to these claims if they are trying to shut me up. Be fair warned do not ever have a medical procedure done at IVCH hospital in Peru,Illinois. I didn't think there was such thing as a worse hospital than Grandview well folks I have found it. Illinois Valley Community Hospital is the worst medical group I have ever seen. 80% of the people who work there do not need to work with the public. They told me the day of surgery to bring all my medications in their original pill bottles. They took all my meds away from me as they would be giving me my meds. When they discharged me they kept my meds. No problem they have me a bunch of prescriptions I figure they would reissue my meds.WRONG!!!! So after driving 30 miles home to the pharmacy I find out they didn't reissue them so I call the hospital and they deny taking them from me after several conversations of being treated like a liar the hospital finds my meds in the nurses station. Now they want me to come back to Peru and pick up the meds they didn't take? Lost then found. Or they can mail them to me in which case I will be with out several of my key medications to my recovery and health. I have never been treated so poorly by a bunch of so called health professionals in my life. I have video pictures and documentation I will be posted to confirm this post. As it turned out the nurse who took my meds didnt inventory them that's why they were misplaced. When I got the meds back all the pain meds were not there. I reported this to the hospital and nothing was done about it.
