Lovely little church in a beautiful setting

St. Luke's Anglican Church. A beautiful picturesque round shaped church, on the outskirts of the English retirement village Palhagueira, where the Sunday Eucharist is held at 11:30 am. St. Luke's Church can be reached from Loulé, heading east on the N270. Then turning right (heading South) on to the Estrada Mund. 520, towards Gorjões. After passing the church, Igreja Matriz de Gorjões, you will see, on your left, 2 black and white signposts (see my photo) saying Monte da Palhagueira Village, and the other saying St. Luke's Church. Take a left here, and you will reach St.Luke's Church within a minute. St.Luke's Church can also be reached coming from Santa Bárbara de Nexe, heading North, on the Estrada Mund.520, untill you get to the 2 signposts (see photo) on your right with Monte da Palhagueira and St.Luke's Church.
