I heard this was a St Louis most try and that is definitely true. Strong tradition and a consistent philosophy along with great customer service. We got to see a peice of how special this place was as the customer in front of us had some secret baked goods for the owner/staff. Then got to hear how amazing the family has been over the years and see first hand how this has been passed down throughout generations. Doesn't feel like you are going to a pretzel shop, feels like you are stopping by one of your family's houses to grab some amazing pretzel. Will not go back to St Louis without stopping in.

The place is clean. I ordered the hotdog pretzel. It is soft and tasty. Love the deal 15 unsalted pretzels for 9.00. I strongly recommended. I should get a beer.

I don’t know the first thing about Gus Pretzels, but a friend, Mike Kiel, bought them for me in a time of need (working a boat show in St. Charles) and just say, best pretzel I’ve ever had. Thank you, loved it!!
