We go to Wednesday's \Stay and Play\ for little ones plus a parent or grandparent/caters. Its really good - in fact a totally relaxed MUST TRY
A lovely carol service. The church looked beautiful.
Warm and welcoming. Our own church had no evening service on Ash Wednesday so we searched on the internet for other near-by churches. One had 'February' as their list of special services even though it was March. Another had nothing under special services and if you downloaded their weekly notice sheet, you got one from December. St James' website was very up to date and had their Ash Wednesday service prominently displayed on the home page so top marks to them for that. The service was wonderful with a choir of 15 adults and 2 children. I'm only sorry that not more people were in the congregation. The homily was excellent and topical.
