Best fish and chips in town, especially now Rumbles is no more. Very well priced with a pineapple fritter (my weakness) half what others charge. The (real) onion rings are legendary for a pound. The mushy peas are very good, not too runny and a good size portion. The fish has always been lovely although the portions are smaller than average. Things have obviously changed since COVID hit but they have adapted well. If you can get through it is best to order ahead but when they are busy the phone is not always answered. In this case customers are allowed in one at a time to order, given a number and asked to wait just outside (seats provided!) which works really well.
Efficient queue system. Very quick service. Food very nice
