St Helens Care Home

Visited this evening with a view to an assessment and hopefully a permenant placement for my dad. Found Dawn and both nurses on call to be very open and extremely honest about the home. Breath of fresh air... Nurse was very helpful and understood my concerns for dad and his care. Yes the home is a little rough and ready and might need a lick of paint.......BUT ...... it feels homely, it is a calm environment, and the staff ooze the meaning of care .... gut feelings just go with it.. fingers crossed dad ends his days here with people who do appear to really care x
