Very interesting elaborately built church which has the 3rd tallest tower in England. Quite a lot of the grave stone engravings remain very clear to read even though a lot of the stones are late 1700s to the 1800s. Many baby and child deaths despite they being from relatively affluent families. Well worth a visit. St Elphin is considered as the patron Saint of Warrington and was around in the 7th century.

Absolutely love this building at night. Just looking at it has a strong calming effect. And there was a hedgehog just hedgehogging about. Love it.
A church that has stood the test of time. Battled scared from the English Civil War. As good as any other church in the region.
