Great little dog park. It’s small but well maintained.

Beautiful and plenty of space. Park off of Commerce Dr. Restroom building and water fountain available
I visited this place on 7/17/2020. The pond fountains were inoperable, the water is placid and there is a thick layer of algae floating on top. There are dog toys near the waters edge, but the regular, daily visitors told me that the pond is unclean and they don't let their dogs play in it. On the plus side, there is a smallish pen, with wood chips on the ground, for the dogs to play in. There's some agility equipment for them as well, like a tunnel and a ramp. For us bipeds, there's a pavilion and a picnic table. The human regulars are welcoming and friendly! The main attraction is obviously the water for the dogs to play in, but since it's too dirty and not maintained, I gave this place 3 stars.
Great place to let your dogs run around leash free and take a swim in the pond.
The East Side Sports Complex Dog Park has three sections: one very small gated section for small dogs only which is all grass, a larger section for bigger dogs with obstacles that is only wood chips, and a section that has the pond that the dogs can go in the water. This dog park is well maintained and has poop bags that are always filled. Compared to the James O'Greene, the East Side dog park is a lot smaller, but still has it's perks. Four stars was given due to lack of grass area for the big dogs.
