First time I've had my eyes tested, and Salim made it a pleasant experience. He is really knowledgeable and explained what he was doing and why. Ordered my first pair of specs and booked in a follow up appointment, as he noticed my peripheral vision is slightly off and gave me some eye exercises to try to improve it.
I have been visiting this optician for over 20 years as well, but I also think I must win an award for being their most long distance customer! I emigrated to Australia 12 years ago and still come back to my (once) local optician for my contact lenses. Now in truth, I can't source my contact lenses in Australia but that doesn't diminish the facts altogether. Would recommend St Ann's happily.
The optician is very thorough and professional and has a very pleasant manor, as his has receptionist/assistant. They carry a good range of fashionable frames in the Harrow store, but they pointed out that they have more available (they have another branch in Forest Hill, South London). The only quibble I have is their lens supplier took a long time to prepare my lenses as they had a quality control issue and one lense had to be re-done. However, overall I much preferred to deal with this optician than the often brusque, impersonal and sales driven large optician chains, and will definitely be returning.
Had an eye test here and my god I needed glasses! So happy to finally see things clearly again!
