I think its shut. Maybe forever? I like piers for the seaside look and feel but prefer them open and tuppence arcades running.

Lovely beach. Even at high tide the sea was really far out though, so not great if you want to paddle, but the sand is very nice and pretty clean, and lots of shells to find and decorate sandcastles with.

Lovely little pier with slot machine area, bracing walk along the prom, visit the statue of Les Dawson and fish and chips

Went to the chippy. Long queue possibly down to covid 19 restrictions. Although may just be busy due to excellent quality food. Very impressed.
