Very very well stocked and organised. A little bit higher in price compared to quality goods and other stores, but a lot less busy. Super clean.

I used to go to a supermarket (Tesco etc) once a week for my shop, but I've been trying to support local businesses lately. Thankfully, this place makes it very easy to do that. Has everything you could possibly need plus a lot of things you should try. For a local shop the standard of fruit and veg is excellent, which can't be said for everywhere else on Ilford Lane.
Wouldn't even give it one star because of the horrible customer treatment. A staff member was constantly standing behind us and watching us while we were shopping. We had just walked into the shop so I don't know when he came to the decision that we were suspicious enough for him to breathe down our necks. We moved out of his way thinking that we were blocking him from getting to where he needed, but he continued to watch us. Ignoring him, we discussed whether or not a specific product was suitable for our purposes, and he told us to stop touching the package because we were going to rip it. Assuring him that we were adults that knew how to handle a packet, we carried on browsing before deciding that we did not want the product. We placed the packet back to its original place and began to move on to our next item. The same staff member suddenly threw a tantrum. We heard a banging sound and turned around to see him aggressively straightening, flattening and faffing around the product we placed back. Bearing in mind that we placed it back on the shelf neatly as any decent person would. I don't know exactly what this member of staff was going through to be feeling so aggressive, but please try to be professional and not take it out on your customers. Definitely would not shop here again and I would advise others to be wary of shopping here unless you enjoy being watched and being subjected to passive aggressive behaviour. There are plenty of other stores in this area that have the same products and much better customer service so I would definitely reccommend them!
The staff there can be a bit unprofessional at times. It's an alright cornershop to visit, if you need the essentials.
