Spurr's Quality Butchers

Got one of the hampers for our Christmas turkey and was very impressed. Everyone said it was the best turkey we’d had at Christmas for a long time. The pigs in blankets, stuffing, and pork pie were very nice too. The gammon joint is still in the fridge for another day. Will definitely be getting my meat from Spurr’s from now on.

Just had ploughman’s lunch with your amazing pork pies and delicious ham, the pies had to have just come out of the oven, the best we have ever tasted so yummy. Well worth the walk into town for. Thank you we will be back, great friendly butchers x

Visited for first time, really lovely friendly staff, couldn’t do enough for you, and just fantastic quality meat, the pork chops were amazing and mince was better than Blacker Hall! It’s not cheap but you get what you pay for! Great parking too, good to be able to keep it local and help a young business that is working so hard at doing everything right! Will definitely revisit and have already recommended, well deserved 5 stars!

Great local butcher's. Good quality meats, good prices, very friendly staff. I particularly like their excellent pork pies (the best around?). It's five stars from me!!
