Thank you to all the lovely staff that I spoke to today and helped with the scattering of my mum's ashes. The cafe staff were fantastic, thank you once again to Wanda, the staff in the kitchen and out front who put together sandwiches and that for me on short notice. Very much appreciated.
A lovely place to visit, walk around and honour the dead all in one. The gardens are gorgeous and well-maintained.
Beautiful peaceful place .. well maintained .. Maybe because I was very stressed.. but I couldn’t find the grave I was looking for ... the website listed the grave site in letter and number , but the signage on the lawns and ground are 2 letters ... I was soo upset and stressed I had to leave
Fantastic lay out. Has water falls to greet you at the entrance. Has a large rose gardens to walk though to clear the mond. The trees are well looked after, the lawns are maintaned and well adged. Has a good amount of parking and a publoc toilet ln site.
Absolutely beautiful place .
I Believe one of most beautiful cemetery’s in the world. The size of it is also unbelievable and as I heard one of the largest cemetery’s in the world. It is well maintained and truly feels like you are in a botanical garden. When you visit the cemetery you could spend a quality time in it. It is kind of a historic place and you could get lot of information from online.
The Cemetery overall is a peaceful & tranquil environment to pay my respects to my loved ones. In particular, the VICPOL Memorial is a very special place that I hold close to my heart. It is always in immaculate condition. I appreciate knowing that I can bring my 2 x BEST friend's, Ruby & lil Lady w me. Parking is easy & the "new" Cafe is lovely. It's a great place to catch up w family/friends after visiting our loved ones final resting places. It doesn't feel like we are at a Cemetery which makes me feel a lil less sad & anxious.
