Great traditional Chinese restaurant. Will try and squeeze you in even without a reservation. Of course the duck is superb. But everything else is too. Great old school service where nothing is too much trouble. A must if you are in Tsim Sha Tsui

One of the most traditional and famous Chinese restaurant especially for its Beijing duck. It is not easy to book a table for the same day. It is always full. Well, but I don't see the food quality so high. Beijing duck is oily and the wrap is too thick. Most other foods maybe very traditional but not that tasty. You are gonna pay a bill of high amount for its fame and tradition not for good food.

Definitely a tourist trap (which we fell into). The food wasn't great, it was OK, but I have had much better in Hong Kong for half the price. We arrived at 18:10, the restaurant opened at 18:00 and almost every table was reserved. By 18:45 every table was full (Tuesday night). We got one of the last available tables and watched as the it filled up with tourists from everywhere. The duck seems to be the dish of choice here which we did not order. I'd suggest getting duck only if it is two of you (420 for a duck) and nothing else as it looks like a big feed. The other food we ordered was all OK, but the duck looked much better. Again, I would probably avoid here and look elsewhere, very touristy and overpriced. To experience Hong Kong food, go elsewhere. If you want duck, are willing to pay well over the top for an English speaking waiter/waitress and are happy to book in advance, then this is the place for you.

This is the WORST restaurant you could ever eat at in Hong Kong. Big rip off. The food is terrible, expensive, tasteless, lacked flavour and it did not fit the descriptions on the menu. The menu is also extremely limited. We ordered fish in ginger and we received pieces of flattened fish pieces rolled in a batter in a flavorless sauce. They bring a little bowl of peanuts and sour pickled cabbage to your table without request and they charge you 5 per head for these items. The servers hover over your shoulder while you pay the bill in an effort to persuade you to tip them especially if you're a foreigner. Tipping isn't customary in China and Hong Kong. There are so many restaurants in Hong Kong for you to experience the diversity and the rich flavour of HK cuisine. Save yourself the trouble and your wallet. This ruined my last night in Hong Kong. This is a big zero in my books. A 2 week old big Mac in a dumpster would have tasted better than this food. Utterly disappointed.

Traditional Chinese restaurant. Attentive and helpful staff. No fancy decor or dish display. I recommend Peking duck and wanton chicken soup. Dishes come in S/M/L size but even the small size dish is in large portion. Value for money but better come in large group so you can order a number of dishes to taste.

The food was good, however the service was not. Thankfully I was with local friends who spoke Cantonese. One of our dishes was never delivered. The wait staff tried to make us wait for it when we were done with everything else and had asked for the bill. The duck was good but I thought it was better at King Lodge.

A very traditional restaurant but don’t let the design or the sometimes rude servers fool you. The food is delicious without it’s pretentious look. We ordered one peking duck which very is tasty. Other dishes we tried included cabbage cooked with ham, long beans, steam and fried dumplings, the special doufu, etc.
