My daughter is 2.5 yrs old and started her swimming lessons in the beginning of september. At first she would not enter the pool and there were a lot of tears! -now she is in the water and smiling! This is all thanks to Juilian! He has such a calm, kind nature and is very empathetic. He is very motivated in every lesson to ensure our daughter has made some improvement every time she comes. He uses props, sings and does loads of activities to get her used to the water and also incorporates movements to help her swim. I would recommend this company because they are very accommodating, prompt at responding to emails/booking and the venues they use are good too (Kingston- good size pool, clean, easy parking and access). Over all brilliant service!

Update: Possibly more concerned about business reputation than my child’s experience, however the business did respond to my concerns in a timely and professional manner and I am satisfied with the outcome. Original: [Absolutely disgusted at the verbal abuse my 5 year old daughter received from a so called professional who has been trained to teach children. Absolutely avoid! I am a qualified swimming instructor myself and taught hundreds of kids throughout my student days, never have I witnessed an instructor who lacks not only professional but basic human decency quite like what we experienced this evening]
My two sons have been swimming with sports generation for three years. We have had a truly wonderful experience with Sports Generation, the coaches are professional and have shown they genuinely care about the progress of my children, taking the time to nurture a fun and caring relationship with them in the water. My youngest was very fearful of the water when he begun, however with patience and understanding from his instructors and instructor continuity he has made fantastic progress, and he now loves his time in the water and is catching up to his big brother! I have also find the administrative staff immensely helpful and responsive to parental requests, which is very reassuring as swim lessons are an investment for both parent and child. The set-up of the classes feels like a factory- get the kids in, get the kids out. Super disappointed with both the class and customer service. At the 2nd class, instructor missed our class and when he turned up went straight on to the next without even acknowledging us. Customer service consists of what feels like a constant upsell- instead of fixing issues, they want to move you to the more expensive classes at cost to you. Would not recommend. EDIT: Just a note to say I have had multiple classes rescheduled with Sports Generation and they do not offer refunds on classes that are cancelled- so despite the high cost and inconvenience- they only offer a very limited range of make-up classes which is simply not helpful.
