The food is great! Spiciest spicy tuna roll I've had. The atmosphere is nice and inviting. And our waitress was over-the-top accommodating and kind. My partner is on crutches and she was so helpful. Sorry we didn't catch her name but will definitely be returning on our next trip to Spokane!

Cannot get enough of this restaurant. Have gone twice now two months in a row. The adorable sectional seating provides separation from others and the service goes above and beyond. We asked a ton of questions about what items were, how they are cooked etc. The Suki Yaki is still my favorite with the sushi flowing in second!

It has been an experience here. To start off with no amount of gratitude can make up for how wonderful my time here has been. Everything I have had ordered is made in-home. That is a hard thing to do nowadays due to longer waits and impatient customers. Let me assure you that it was worth the wait. From the yakitori and gyoza to the sushi. My personal favorite was the sake nigiri (salmon). It was so fresh and well put together, it was the perfect bite. With the marinated fish blanketing the sticky rice and topped off with black and white roasted sesame and green onion. I have had so many different sushi types in my life, and this one is what I believe the culmination of hard work, dedication, and a love for the craft. I can't wait to return and will come back again, hungry for more.

This place was absolutely delicious! I love traditional Japanese food and this place excels. Sitting in a traditional private room too just can't be beat. My boyfriend had never tried any of this style of food and he loved it. Great price, food coma and with leftovers to spare. Such a gem in Spokane! We'll be back!

First time dining at this establishment without knowing its history nor reading any of its reviews. Service is impeccable! Food is delectable and plentiful. The sukiyaki reminded me of our Nana’s cooking. Tempura andIt’s dipping sauce was top notch. Makis came out beautiful and bursting with flavor. Would definitely come back to this long time running (70 years) restaurant.

Japanese food here - yummy. I was so stuffed. The staff was very sociable and kind. It has an awesome feel to it. Kinda of like a place in Houston that I enjoyed.

This place has what like 13 tables? Why is it every time I come I routinely get terrible service. Seriously? 45 minutes to reviece miso soup and be ignored by our server to never reviece our food, an hour later, still waiting and our parking had expired...

Only place I've found in Spokane that gets good Uni! Delicious. I'd highly recommend getting the Agedashi Tofu as a starter too.
