Great hearty breakfast
social distancing barriers between tables, all staff wore masks, tasty fresh food.
On the outside a quaint looking cafe, sadly though, very disappointing with a lack of accessibility for people with wheelchairs. There was no greeting nor welcoming smile. No ramp available and no offer of help to gain access to the shop. Very cramped and the two menus, one for eating in and one for Take Away were not very clear. Breakfast was ordered and when served, both bacon and toast were burnt. No apology was offered and when replacements were requested, just a curt response from the person behind the till was offered. From her ‘obvious put on upper class voice’ I assumed she was the manager but as no apology was forthcoming, maybe she was just a waitress? This is not the kind of service that I have come to expect from a little independent coffee shop especially one based in Chichester. I will definitely not be returning or recommending to others. Sadly I’m unable to score 0 or at best 1/2.
A great little find off the main Street. Staff were very friendly and helpful, good choice on the menu, food was good quality. If you are looking for a small independent cafe this is the place for you.
