A big shout-out to the Spire and Spoke, a wonderful community pub with great service and friendly staff. I'm writing this during 'Covid times' and they've been brilliant, working tirelessly to comply with ever-changing rules while keeping their staff and customers safe and happy. Currently serving fantastic pizzas cooked in their wood-burning oven and cakes to die for!

A lovely-looking country pub which serves delicious Italian style takeaway pizzas at the moment and also has great looking takeaway cakes, cookies and coffees. Definitely on our list to go back to.
We stayed in Watlington for 4 days and this was a great village pub with great food & home baked goods aswell as a pizza oven. Also has a great view
Watlington is very lucky, a great café and a terrific pub with a lovely team!!! We cannot wait for the place to re-open but in the meanwhile, the pizzas and cakes to take away have been a joy! Well done John, Katie and the Team, you’re doing an amazing job
nice pub with great beer choice. staff very helpful and friendly. pizzas from the oven are just ace! good garden seating areas.
