RUINED NYE 2020!!!!!! We ordered a collection for 19.30, we arrived in ample time to ensure we didnt miss our slot. After waiting for over an hour we requested a refund, NO apology from staff. Whilst waiting we could hear arguing and shouting from the kitchen and no staff around to ask for an update. Complete and utter shambles. No organisation what so ever. We do expect some delays with it being NYE however at 20.45 still not recieving our food i think many would agree awful service. We WILL NOT be using there services again and i will be encouraging others to do the same.

Best place in whole of Leicester to have a curry. Food and service is amazing. Make sure to try the sizzler, cheese and chilli roti and the amazing variety of curries. Easy to find, plenty of parking and a bus route just outside. They offer take away options too. Drinks are amazing. Make sure to take advantage of the Indian beers on offer to make your meal taste even better. Make sure to finish off your dinner with one of their tasty desserts.
I have been using the Spice for years but was really disappointed tonight. The food was good, as usual, but that was it. We were put at the rear of the restaurant near the exit with two large groups of young males. They were so loud we couldn't hear ourselves speak. The service was so slow and unless we shouted to a passing waiter - we were ignored. The food was slow to come out, and two tables who were seated after us got their food first. That particular area had one air conditioning unit in, but was baking; more to the point - there is NO ventilation which in current times is concerning. When we ordered coffees the waiter was evidently inconvenienced and was short with us. The worst visit in 15 years. We will leave it a good while now.
Food is great and spot on all the time, but on two different occasions we’ve noticed the bill is much higher then it should be because they put more expensive Curries On the bill then we’ve ordered. The reason for this review today is because I was talking to someone that experience the same thing. Also we were told that soft drinks are free and we are hit for 14 (minus 50% thanks to GOV). It’s a shame that I have to watch the bill as I normally never do. Great food guys. You need to educate or sort out what’s going on.
