Lovely location and friendly staff. Food and drink was great, but long waiting time for both. Would recommend going as long as you don't have anywhere you need to be or a parking ticket running out! When the food did come it was delicious and good value for money!

An excellent location, right on the edge of the harbour. You can watch the boats coming in and out, the Isle of Wight car ferry and even the biggest aircraft carrier...... HMS Queen Elizabeth while enjoying a drink or something nice to eat from The Spice Island Inn. The staff there are brilliant, especially considering they are having to deal with social distancing etiquette. A nice chilled and relaxed atmosphere, definitely worth a visit!

A quick day in Portsmouth and has been an absolute pleasure stopping by the sea at the Spice Island! Myself and my friends we enjoyed great beers and good food. Plus had one of the loveliest customer experience ever thanks to the beautiful blonde Sweden lady who served. I can't remember her but it won't get too long to understand who I'm talking about once there...she's absolutely a note 10 in helping you out! Totally recommend !!!

A beautiful pub to sit in at the end of the Quay to watch boats come lazily into and out of the harbour. Amazing, simple food and menu. On a warm summers eve there is plenty of seating outside to laze and watch the sunset.

Nicely positioned pub inside the Old Portsmouth area. The service was OK, despite the Covid-19 situation, although the waiting time was pretty long (almost an hour for a meal). I had a fish&chips, unfortunately it wasn't a good value for the money. The tartar sauce wasn't good, there were a few pieces of chips, the fish was OK, but the batter was overcooked at places. Still, the view was great and the waiters were kind. I don't really recommend this pub to eat, but for a few drinks it can be a great pick!
