Spice Bazaar

I was originally unsure about how good the food would be after reading some reviews but with no other Indian restaurant open we decided to give it a try. The food was really lovely and the staff were friendly and attentive. Would really recommend.

This is the best place to have an Indian meal in Dartmouth. Good menu and service. Well established Restaurant with a good local following. The food always has that extra something in the spices to make the food special. Love the place.

I'm glad I didn't take any notice of the previous reviews for this hidden gem of a restaurant. Tucked away and not straight forward to find, this place was worth the effort. We ordered a range of vegetarian dishes and were delighted at the quality of the food and presentation. A complimentary dish was a pleasant surprise and was something I'd order in the future. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the food. A lovely evening.

We went to the Spice Bazaar on Saturday. What a great meal. I have to say I looked over some of the reviews and nearly didn't go. Thank goodness we did. We had a truly wonderful meal. Every dish was excellent, and,( and maybe this is their problem...)as close to 'the real thing' as I have tasted in the UK. If you want your standard Indian dishes then this isn't it. If you want a charmingly hosted meal and fabulous food then go to the Spice Bazaar.

Very good food, superb flavours. Well above the run of the mill. A bit short-staffed when we were there. Definitely need to book ahead.
