This place was so wonderful. With the romantic, moody light. The food was phenomenal! The best steak I have ever had, I'm so picky about my food when I don't make it myself, but this restaurant blew my mind. Definitely reasonable pricing for the luxury feel of the environment and food!! Highly recommend. Great for both dates and families!

We did the Prix fixe dinner that has an appetizer, entree and dessert. Beef tartare 4 stars New York strip 3 stars Cheesecake 4 stars The server made sure to ask everyone to cut into their steaks to make sure it was the correct done ness. I thought it was a smart move to avoid issues if the steak was not cooked to your satisfaction. The server did not do a quality check for our entrees. My new York strip was very sinewy. Another person's steak was obviously quite tough. The person who served me my food was much more personable and friendly than our waiter.
Amazing service and incredible food. The bone-in ribeye was cooked to perfection. The onion soup one of the best ever and the lobster bisque was dreamy. Highly recommend this place for an authentic Omaha steak!

I was very disappointed in the service and food. We had reservations for dinner but they weren't necessary as the restaurant was very empty. We were seated in our own nook, no one else was by us until we were almost done with dinner. Due to there not being many guests, I would have thought we would've had better service. We barely saw our server; my drink was empty most of the dinner. The food was subpar, definitely not worth the money! I had the ribeye, and when cooked right it doesn't need sauce... I had to ask for sauce. What was even more disappointing is another couple was seated next to us toward the end of our dinner and received much better service, even had, what looked like, management come to their table several times. Overall, poor food and poor service. Highly recommend J Gilbert as a superb alternative.
