Interesting mosaics and good information on posted signs. I felt it was a bit expensive for the experience provided.

Great exhibition with videos showing how the rooms of this Roman villa might have looked. They provide a comprehensive explanation of how the rooms were used plus a timeline comparing Umbrian, Etruscan, Roman and Spello’s development. Very interesting giving insight to daily life.
Great little museum.
Wonderful archeological find in Spello. The remains of a large Roman Villa with amazing mosaics and projections of how each room would have looked. Definitely download the app beforehand for added information.
The 1 star is for the museum opening time. On Saturday 1st of June: closing time between 1 and 3 pm!!!! If you go at 12.35 you can’t get in; ticket must be purchased 30 minutes before for a museum that needs 10 minutes to be appreciated! This is the proof Italy doesn’t know how to sell its artistic patrimony!
