I have been attending this optician for about 10 years, I was pleased to get an appointment for 16th September... booked weeks ago. Unfortunately I have developed Covid symptoms so I phone and cancelled the appointment , giving the reason. The woman was appreciative that I had done so, but not appreciative enough to book me in for a couple of weeks time. I was told that they are booked up til November and she had not been given a diary for after november. She would not put me on a list for cancelled appointments or any sort of list but to just phone up some time. I said that I quite desperate for an eye test and cannot read properly with my present glasses. It strikes me that Specsavers were not really very appreciative of me not putting them in danger of infection.

Very disappointed to be offered an emergency appointment for end of January when following triage by team I was advised my symptoms indicated an urgent assessment. To have no emergency appts for 6 weeks a concern and needs review. 111 surprised my own optician wouldnt see me. Really disappointed in lack of care provided by yourselves.
I went for a hearing test and the young lady who did the test was ever so friendly and explained to me very clearly everything was ok .. excellent service .
Very covid aware. Admission only by appointments.
