Specsavers Opticians and Audiologists - Tunstall

The optician was extremely unhelpful when I informed him my eyes had been painful due to working from home on my laptop, following his question as to whether I had been having any problems since my last visit. He was completely uninterested and unhelpful...just going through the motions of asking his list of questions. I have just read an article on the BBC website about it being a problem for may people at the moment and gave some helpful advice and was was free !!!!

I went here for an eye test and ended up having to get some new glasses. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I have used this place a couple of times now and would use again.

Friendly helpful staff everything distanced and very safe sanitiser available. Only a few people in at a time lots of appointments available.

Incredibly rude, wouldn't listen, would immediately walk off and lock the door, then handed me somone else's envelope. Which if I had not checked myself before walking away, contained two hearing aids and personal details of someone else and, without me paying the fee I was expecting to pay. Eventually managed to get the correct envelope.

My son was treated at the doctor's for over a week with what they suggested was an eye infection. It turned out to be an ingrowing eyelash that was protruding into his eyeball. In his growing discomfort I contacted Specsavers for advice. They were extremely helpful and the optician, Andrew Butler, responded to my photographs at 10pm at night and assured me that an appointment would be made the next day. Sure enough, shortly after 9am they rang and booked him in for a same day appointment. Stringent social distancing measures were in place. The optician reassured Daniel and made him feel at ease before treating and removing the eyelash. Reassuring advice and professional treatment followed. It's not often you come across this in my experience. Many thanks, I can highly recommend this optician.
