Very helpful even when I went back to collect my glasses and I forgot what one off the very friendly staff told me about my eyes. they was polite and helpful enough to get another member off staff to show me the scan again and explain can't ask for much more than that.

Personally not the best experience! Tried the contact lens free trying service! To be told don't worry the lens will clear lol. I was given -1.25's when I'm a 1.25 or there abouts! Really off putting experience for my first trial. Covid now isn't helpful especially wintervtime waiting patiently outside to be seen. Obviously Covid doesn't help the situation covid! Kind regards S

I know times are different right now, and I also work in a role that hasn't stopped because of things so understand the stress and chaos we are living through right now but I thought a) such a tiny store was over run with staff and b) staff who were neither helpful, organised or polite. It didn't make sense! Literally couldn't move for staff who were all trying to organise the same thing. Fortunately the town offers other local optician choices. It's a shame as we have used this branch before without issue but instead received service from another very near opticians which wasn't over run with staff, handled the situation far more calmly and we were spoken to professionally and politely.
