First visit to this opticians and could not have asked for better care and service had eye test and ordered new glasses. They went out if their way to make me comfortable were very informative . When choosing frames they were very interested in my requirements and did not at any time try to guide me to expensive items and indeed advised me not to have add ons which I did not need and were not suitable for me. Thank you Specsavers highly recommended. !
Our experience was worse than dire when it came to booking a hearing test for a 92 year old person. Three times cancelled over a period of 4 weeks, each time same reason of illness was given. Each cancelled appointment by Specsavers was within hours of arrival, the last being one hour. The person in question lives in a residential home and the trauma for him to be readied for the visit along with the time consumed by staff making this possible is considerable. Do we believe someone is ill over this period and nobody else available? No of course not. Even if possible should we have been informed earlier on all three occasions? Most certainly. Our experience with Specsavers Newport Pagnell has been nothing less than disastrous, despite realising the cost of hearing aids would run into the thousands of pounds it's critical a person of this age can be made to feel as comfortable as possible whereby weeks at this age are not expendable. The whole experience and the now wait to obtain an appointment elsewhere has left us with a very poor opinion of a business we thought to be professional but proved to be the opposite. Please be warned, if its hearing problems that need attention consider the implications of Specsavers Newport Pagnell who we suggest are probably better suited to eyesight rather than hearing.
Switched from going to MK city centre opticians as due to Covid, it now seems to be about a 3 year wait for an eye test (any optician) so booked into Newport Pagnell Specsavers and was very pleased with the whole service aspect. I don't think the team could have been more helpful, even though I didn't need to change my glasses. Phoned up today as I'm going to try contact lenses and they fitted me in today within 3 hours. I'm very glad I went to Specsavers...
