Hi, I recently went to the store Horsham for contact lens check as the trial ones were wrong prescription and to collect glasses that I was told were ready. I arrived on time and was told there were no glasses to collect! Then told to go upstairs for contact lens check and I took a seat. I was then told that there was a wait of 20-25 minutes. I explained that the appointment was made for 3.10pm and if there was such a delay someone should have phoned me out of courtesy. This fell on deaf ears. I then said that I’d taken time out of work for this and was not prepared to go over the time I’d taken out of work. I then went back down stairs and was told the glasses would be ready in 10 mins as miraculously they’d been found!!! After I left with the glasses I suggested the store could make an effort to contact me with a date and time for the lens check that they could honour. To date they have not called which suggests they cannot honour a time or do not care for customers. Staff are polite and very nice but overall service isn’t good... but not surprising considering the mistakes they’ve made in the past. Perhaps the new opticians that’s opened nearby with cafe would be better.
