Done an eye test for my little daughter six month ago and I went pick the glasses up a week later with out my daughter and didn’t say nothing GOOD. But this time I went there and ask the staff do I need to bring my daughter to pick up the glasses I was told no needed just pop in yourself, I took a day off work and had to walk 25 minutes to get there and told me we’re not going to give you the glasses without your daughter that’s unbelievable. Why you done it last time and why you told it’s okay and now cost me a day of work and walk 25 minutes for nothing..WAITING TIME.

My glasses fell apart and they refused to fix them I was told to try and solder them back together myself as the frame came away from the front area on the glasses to wher they were connected it really was the glasses that were wrong I tried 4 to five times for them to help me but to no avale they tried to sell me another pair of glasses I was inside the 2 year frame gareentee so I should have been helped I was disappointed with the outcome of what they said to me I am private and always pay for my glasses my whole family my wife my three sons and my three grandchildren are customers here but my wife now says if this is the way they are treating you we will be going elsewhere in the future Really disappointed the way I was looked at as well And judged at one point i rang again and the optician tried to catch me out by saying oh you said this awhile ago and this but I was fast enough to back track and correct him Really disappointing and upsetting experience Wont be going there again I am in the process of contacting BBC watchdog over this it's now jan 2020 and I still got know help from specsavers bad customer service not good for business really disappointing to know I now won't be helped as they don't seem to care Discusted Mr gerard Duggan Canton.

Good service, and the staff are always helpful but there seemed to be a point where post-eye test the waiting area was getting a bit crowded downstairs.
Had my eyes tested today and bought new glasses. I was bit worried about covid before going but felt like the precautions put in place made it feel safe. Staff were helpful and cheerful under difficult circumstances.
