Visited this store for the first time today with my daughter. I usually use one of the larger city centre stores, due to COVID-19 I decided to take her locally. I am so pleased that I did, the staff are amazing, despite all the restrictions due to this pandemic, they were enthusiastic, put my daughter at ease, they even showed her a tip on how to wear her mask to stop her glasses steaming up. They front of house staff really went above and beyond. My daughter now wants to make bishopbriggs her regular store. I honestly couldn’t praise them enough.

Great service from staff when I had a video consultation from optician for my then diagnosed bacterial conjunctivitis. He then went for and delivered eye drops to my door. Can't thank them enough

I was seen without an appointment within 10 minutes. The staff were great and I was given a prescription to help my eye problem. Very grateful for all their help.

Had a red inflamed eyelid on Jan 1st. As specsavers bishopbriggs is my optitian went in January 2nd to seek advice from optician. She checked my vision which was not affected she told me to use warm flannel and boiled cooled water with baby shampoo to clean I said I felt it was an infection. She disagreed. I duly did what she told me that day. Big mistake! Middle of night my eye was severely swollen red painful from lid to underneath eye socket. I attended doctors thst morning the 2nd and was sent to optician again as part of NHS triage I walked in 9.30am and was told to come back at 5pm.. The assistant agreed it looked much worse than day before and spoke to optician. I sat for 5 minutes and was handed a compliment slip with eyrdrops to purchase from morrisons! The optician on that day refused even to come out and look at my eye yet prescribed something without even examining me.. Absolute disgrace!! I had to go back to surgery and the doctor took one look and phoned hospital to book me in that day. I had a severe bacterial infection of outer eye area and was given strong penicillin for 7 days.. Shame on you specsavers bishopbriggs for your lack of care and duty to a customer!! I could have been hospitalised if not treated properly by professionals in the NHS. I am considering taking this further. Its a ZERO rating from me.
