After a none C-19 illness my vision had altered a lot. Once I was well enough to go out to Specsavers they fitted me in and gave my eyes a thorough examination as well as the eye tests. Now the joys of being my size is very few if any of the frames in stock at any of the opticians I've used over the past 32 years are big enough, this time Specsavers Hanley came to the rescue and I had 2 pairs of these Timberland frames 1 for distance and 1 for reading. A very pleasant visit a chap called Stefan spent over 5 minutes just going through all the offers to see what was the best deal for me as both pairs have anti glare and the distance pair has photochromic lenses fitted. Not cheap but it never is, great service and I'd highly recommend a visit if ur needing glasses/contact lenses and/or a eye test. They also offer a home visit test service for those who for different reasons can't go out or travel.

Excellent service, all safety measures in place to prevent transmission of covid and other viruses. Staff very helpful.
I've been going to Specsavers Hanley for a number years and there great and they have great deals for having glasses for 2 for the price of one and all the staff are very nice I give Specsavers Hanley 5 stars :)
If I could give 0 stars I would. Optician that checked my eyes tried furiously to scaremonger me into booking a contact lense appointment. Every member of staff I encountered kept commenting to me about how \bad\ my prescription strength/eyes were. Left my appointment and cried. Will never return to any specsavers again.
Always friendly, and assistants are alert to customers needs. Lovely staff. :-)
