I had an absolute blast doing a paragliding course with Extreme Air. Lisa is an excellent teacher with a great reputation, and managed to teach me this sport in a fun and safe manner. The training activities are exciting, and the location is very good. The views in the area are excellent. I can highly recommend the student accommodations. The amenities are quite basic, but the view from the mountain is gorgeous. After just two days of training I managed 6 flights and obtained my PG1 paragliding licence. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a thrilling flying experience!

Really incredible flying school, probably the best in New Zealand! This school has the most awesome instructors out there, who are very experienced, passionate, lovely and caring people! You wont regret anything with them, I didn't! Had the best time ever while they taught me so much knowledge about how to Hang glide, i really got a lot out of my time here and would go back in a heart beat! Anybody who is slightly interested should definitely go to this flying school! Five star!!

I recently did a refresher course with Lisa and her crew and I couldn't have had a better experience. I got my paragliding licence about 8 years ago, flew for a couple of seasons then stopped when my daughter came along. Nearly five years after my last flight, Lisa got me back in the air again and it was so much fun!! She went back to basics with me, dusting off the cobwebs (and there were a lot!), going over all the fundamentals and skills on the training hill before heading up to launch for several brilliant flights. I was so nervous before starting the refresher, not sure whether I'd be able to remember everything or have the skills anymore, but Lisa's fun teaching style and her amazing knowledge and experience really set me at ease and gave me the confidence I needed to get flying again. I highly recommend going to Lisa for any paragliding instruction. I'm certainly very glad I did!

Was such a great time! The lessons move at such a perfect rate never getting boring but always keeping you on your toes to make sure you are always progressing. Lisa is an amazing teacher, who is very clear and approachable, and so are her staff who are very helpful with great little tips. Before you know it they will have you feeling safe and confident gliding down Mt Smiley. Highly recommend these guys for a great day! Left smiling from ear to ear. Cheers heaps Extreme Air, will hopefully be back soon!

Thoroughly recommend Extreme Air wonderful instruction (Very patient) Lisa & John have a wealth of knowledge and experience. Thank you so much for the 3 days experience I will never forget. Quality, well maintained equipment, very high on safety and a credit to the industry. Loved the Hang Gliding albeit I was worn out but a GOOD worn out. Also to experience the Para-Gliding was fantastic. Get in, try it you'll love it as I did!
