This is our local spar, since being under new ownership it's performed consistently. What we need when we need it. The owner is very friendly and is open to receiving requests for specific items, I can even have my mail/parcels dropped off at the store so I can pick it up later. Definitely recommend.

We've reached peak Spar. Outdoor seating, good local ales and warm pasties. After a soggy day in the hills and a closed pub this little wonder out a smile on our faces. Covered outdoor seating was the icing on the cake.
After finishing our walk in the rain and realising that the local pub was closed on a Sunday afternoon (boo!) we stumbled into this cave of delights. Equipped with hot drinks, mouthwatering pasties, ales as well as whiskey we took a seat outside on the benches watching the rain and the sun. Spar - it was there for us when we needed it the most :)
Excellent shop ALL your local and walking needs catered for. Great staff really friendly. Keep up the good work guys.
Friendly and helpful staff. A good selection of groceries. I was especially pleased with my 'Wales' walking stick mount.
