Don't normally leave reviews but this was so bad I couldn't help it. Everything down to the gravy tasted horrible, nothing was cooked properly, burnt on the outside, raw on the inside. All of it has gone in the bin. Will definitely not be returning. If I could have left 0 stars I would have.

Will never use this chip shop again. Definitely not recommended. Food was not cooked properly. I've never had a battered fish that tasted quite like the one I had. Battered after already being fried Battered sausage not absent of batter. Not to mention the appalling state of the wrapping. 27 not well spent at all
Will never use again. We had fish and chips from here on new years eve as the only chippy open. Worst decision ever. Was extremely greasy. Black bits all over (guessing from old oil). Fish was slimy. Just completely not enjoyable. Then to put a topper on the whole experience, there was resistance in the battery, I looked down to find a hair cooked into the batter.
Terrible. Old fat, brown and soggy...the paper was swimming in it by the time I got them home. Threw the lot in the bin, and (literally) even the dog would not eat it...And she’ll eat owt.
The food was lovely and the new owner was so nice. Best food I had there!
