I went to Southside Tequila Joint the other day with my friend to try out their new brunch menu. OH MY GOD. If you live around Withington you definitely need to stop by. The food is absolutely amazing and the drinks are so so strong. I had the Bacon quesadilla accompanied with Breakfast Margarita and it was delicious. Plus- times are tough at the moment so you will appreciate the fact it's all very well priced- i mean how can you say no to a margarita for a fiver! The staff is also absolutely amazing and made sure we had everything we needed :)

OMG! Superb. I didn’t think Solomon’s could be improved but what a phenomenal job they have done during lockdown.. I don’t know where to start.. Firstly - the staff.. Awesome. They are very customer oriented. Professional and happy (that is because they clearly love what they are doing!) Outside area is fabulous! Table layout, decor, the new and improved downstairs area and general ambience is perfect for Withington Village.. The food is unreal. Fresh, exhilarating and unfussy. It does what it says on the tin! Tasty and inventive! The Tequila Selection is truly inspired! Toilets are a joy! You get to learn a new language whilst doing a wee! I understand the COVID mask thing must be difficult for everyone (everywhere) but the staff just do it with aplomb. It was hugely busy on the Wednesday night we went and even though there were people constantly coming in the door staff were unfettered and incredibly happy to help. I think the ordering system is fabulous! Obvs at some point in the future peps may be able to order at the bar but I think the system of ordering online is very simple, efficient and very well organised!. A special mention to Lily who is an absolute star.. such an engaging young lady! Really attentive and you know everything was done with a smile under her mask! It doesn’t matter if you are local, a tourist or just curious to try something new; you will not be disappointed! And it has a 2am license! Which is rare outside of Central Manchester. An uber cool South Manchester gem which I will definitely be returning to! Soon!

Went on the 19th August and was met by a very friendly and charming waitress that complimented my top. From there the service was amazing not only by herself but also the male waiter also. The service was very natural and you could tell the waiting staff were just being themselves. Great selection of tequila and the food was nice too. Super atmosphere and decor.

I really enjoyed the southside cocktail and the three tacos. The tacos were quite small, which I should have known cause of the price. The taco flavourings were interesting and diverse but it would have been nice to see freshly made, hearty beef tacos with all the classic toppings.
