Great ale and great food
Excellent service, cosy local environment and the best mulled wine in the area.
The Barrel House in Birkdale has a wonderful selection of Belgian beers! They have plenty in the fridges to drink in and plenty for take away and they even had one on tap when we went in. The bar is dog friendly and is s bit tight but it's a cosy place to settle in for a few beers.
What a fantastic quirky little bar. Really relaxed with a fantastic choice of beer.
