Great business- very experienced and helpful owner. Good communication from initial enquiry to collection of chickens and supplies. Will definately use again in future

The three Sussex reverse hens we collected from Tracy have settled in nicely with existing hens Albert and Mrs Plump, they were and still are in first class condition. (thank you Tracy for giving them such a great start) Wouldn't dream of looking anywhere else when to purchasing new chickens.
I bought 5 chickens so happy highly recommend this place
Some fine ladies for our garden. Really well set up for social distancing during collection also. All the girls we picked up seem happy and calm
We found Southmead Poultry when we were researching where to buy some POL hens to supplement our flock of two older birds. Communications with Tracey were prompt, efficient and helpful, and we were able to pay for our new girls and some supplies in advance by bank transfer. Having been given our pickup slot, everything went perfectly and we were impressed with the sensible COVID safety measures. Our new girls (three ISA Browns) are an absolute delight; they are healthy, friendly and inquisitive. They soon settled down with the old girls and started laying the very next day, despite it being the middle of winter. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Southmead Poultry and will certainly be calling back for supplies. Many thanks, Paul & Helen
