I cannot thank Liam, Julian and the rest of the team enough for the wonderful send off they arranged for my father. Once dad was in their care we felt an immediate sense of comfort and relief knowing he was somewhere safe where he’d be well looked after before his funeral. Liam and Julian had an extremely warm and caring approach, which made mum and I feel at ease and supported during such a difficult time. They were on hand whenever we needed advice and guidance. Dad was treated with extreme dignity and respect and is now at peace. I wouldn’t hesitate at all to recommend Southgate and Roberts following our extremely positive experience of dealing with them. Such a professional service and nothing was a big ask. The florist they use also did an amazing job arranging dads flowers. Thank you to the whole team!!

I would like to thank Liam and his team , for an amazing, work and politeness and understanding, in a such hard moment that me and my family faced. We were clueless about funeral. We just lost our dearest father. But if wasn’t for the help and the information and patience that this team had for us ,we wouldn’t have a good experience. Liam from the first moment I contact him for information he gave me everything and then confirmed by email everything that was give over the phone. We had an idea what to do next. I can not thank these lovely people for the fantastic 5 star care they gave to my grandad and all of us as a family, they were always there on the other end of the phone day and night answering questions, advising us and just being the caring guys they are, they showed so much respect to my grandad, he was in the best hands I could ever of wanted for him, Matt to went that extra mile with very personal touches that put our minds at rest that grandad was so very well looked after in their care, I really Cant express enough or even thank them both enough for all they have done, totally amazing men thanks x

I would highly recommend the services of Southgate and Roberts Funeral Directors. I was in the very difficult situation of living on another continent when I received the news of my mother's passing. We spoke to Liam and explained our situation and the time frame we were working with. Liam immediately made us feel at ease and began making arrangements. By the time we arrived in Ipswich, a plan was being formed and a great weight was lifted from us. Liam and his team were kind, patient, and exceptionally professional.
