Irene’s Myomassology Institute is more than just a place of education. During my experience in the one year program, I implemented growth and improvement in my everyday life. In my experience, receiving a practice massage every week for a year healed deep cellular trauma in my body. Massage has transformed my mental health and I want to sing it from the rooftops! Besides therapeutic massage is a career on the leading edge of holistic healing!

This school is a really nice place. It is women-led, and very welcoming. All the staff are knowledgeable, and if they can't answer your question right away they will find the answer or get someone who knows the answer. That kind of dedication is hard to find! They are handicapped accessible, offer free Wi-Fi, have outdoor seating under the trees, a wonderful student massage clinic, and a cute store in the middle of the school. The classes themselves are amazing, and aren't hard on the wallet. Some are as low as 5 and their intro to massage class is free! Definitely worth the drive out there.

Irene’s is a great place for an amazing value massage. My daughter, a since graduated swimmer from Wayne State, has used Irene’s many times for massage of her back and shoulders while she was swimming. She loved it and they were able to get the knots out and she was able to swim a bit more painlessly! Would highly recommend.

Irene's is such a fantastic place to be! As soon as you walk through the door, you just feel \home.\ I've never met staff and faculty who care as much as the people at Irenes do- they're truly some of the most inclusive, supportive, and encouraging folks you'll ever meet. The students here are so great and getting massaged in the Student Clinic is one of my favorite things in the world!
