Great outdoor space!! Handsome bar!! Cute, adorable gift shop!! Food is good but I guess I'm not into southern food like I thought. Went for a friends birthday! You'll love it if yr into southern food tho!! And if not the place is really cool to hang out at!!

LOVE the Fried Green Tomatoes with Pimiento, the fried Chicken, and the Southern classic drinks. They had a fantastic Derby Party last year, and hopefully 2021 will see a return to that with Mint Juleps and a fun and festive atmosphere. very nice restaurant and ambience

The fried chicken is out of this world delicious. Skinless chicken deep fried in a batter that is light and very crispy. Paired with a glass of Dos Cabezas red wine made for a delectable food experience, ending with a slice of red velvet cake and a cup of their special coffee from a Cave Creek roaster. Yum!

The food was amazing. Drinks are super strong, be warned. Desert was great. Appetizer, meal, drink, and Desert for two is about 100.00 but worth it. Paito seating perfect for date night. Worth every penny!

The outside atmosphere is really nice Sanz the noise from Camelback Road. The mixed drinks here were solid. The Fried chicken was good and crispy, breading seasoned well. Was surprised to get corn when the menu said sautéed veggies. BF got the gumbo, which was also good but more like a thicken sauce on shredded chicken than a stew. He said the sausage was the hilight. The cake was too sweet for me-but that's just a small thing. Over all, it's pretty good food but the reason I can't really recommend it is the price point. 26 for the fried chicken in the image below doesn't feel right. Especially since I can't eat it all. I would prefer smaller portion options. If there there was a decently priced happy hour, id come back for that.
