Really lovely place to go to escape it all for a few hours. Recently went here for a dinner date and was blown away by this hidden gem. Beautifully decorated, gorgeous food and friendly staff. It was nice to go to a restaurant this close to Christmas and not have a generic Christmas menu forced on you. Well worth it and will be returning!

Transported into a fairytale world, San Fairie Ann, a treasure. Whether for coffee, tea, a cocktail, lunch, dinner, it is the jewel in the crown. The owner and the team faultless, proud of their place of work, nothing too much trouble. Relaxing and fun, a wonderful meeting place for all. A private room downstairs equally appealing. Plenty of parking within a stone’s throw. One used to have to travel further afield for this type of experience but now ‘London comes to Southend’. Cannot wait to return.
We had a lovely night at San Fairie Ann for my partner’s birthday. Warm welcome, friendly service and really really amazing food. I loved the kedgeree arancini and my lamb rump was especially well done, while the lemon tart was just the perfect finish with all the citrus es and lemon sorbet. Thank you for a great night!
Lovely venue, excellent food, fantastic service. All the Covid-19 measures are in place and managed very well upon arrival. Can highly recommend the fish and chips or a selection of their very varied and tasty tapas.
