I liked going to the viewing area and the airside cafe as well as watching the planes. I used to fly from here around every 2 weeks for my home leave. I was not impressed when I got patted down by male security guards quite often
Always a pleasure and rarely a chore. Although the flights can be quite pricey you can't beat not having to spend several hours travelling to London and waiting in an Airport. I genuinely think using Southampton Airport over the bigger Airports has reduced about 70% of travel fatigue.
For travelling ease it was convenient to get to ibiza.
Have had a set of brilliant flights to Geneva this week! I have to say I was very impressed with my local airport - it was really clean, had some brill food and was extremely efficient, managing to get my airbus ready for flight again in under 35 minutes! To top it all off, everyone I talked too, including the border control staff, were really friendly and couldn't do enough to help. Also it's small size really does make it perfect for little legs, not much walking to do at all! Overall I loved my journey through Southampton, thanks for making it a really memorable one! Couldn't recommend enough, will definitely be flying from here whenever I can in the future!
