I graduated here in 2008 (BEng Mechanical Design) and I had a good overall experience. Some courses were quite basic in my opinion but I had feedbacks from other students that didn't agree, comparing with their previous experiences in other universities of the UK. Possibly, studying in Italy is far harder no matter if the language is native or not. I have a good memory of both the management and most of the teachers, although some of mine are retired nowadays.

Their learning software SOL is terrible: it logs me out every 40 minutes when I am on it! I have to spend 5 minutes every hour to log back on and get the links reopened, and another 5 minutes to recall where I left off on the study... Most of time I was figuring out where I left off on this annoying interface rather than studying new knowledge... The module tile only had module code on it, but NO module name on it, so it’s very confusing. I don't know why they attach a long string of strange number to it, not the module name. I have play hide and seek to find where the new stuff gets posted and have a super pictorial memory brain to see which stuff is new and which stuff is old... Most lecturers were very irresponsible and does not care if students would be able to pass the exam or not at this special pandemic time. They did not give more help for students during the pandemic.

I hope students get a better experience than I got working there.
